This privacy policy ("Policy") explains how the BP Time app ("the App") handles the collection, use, sharing, and protection of information. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Article 1 (Scope)
This Policy applies to information handled in connection with your use of the App, including:
- Information stored on your device
- Information saved to and integrated with the Apple Health app
The App is a record-keeping tool. We do not store health data on our servers.
Article 2 (Information We Collect)
The App handles the following categories of information:
1. Health Data (on device / the Apple Health app)
- Blood pressure (systolic/diastolic), pulse, measurement timestamp, morning/evening flag, etc.
- When you enable the Apple Health app integration in settings, this data is read from and written to the Apple Health app with your consent.
2. Usage & Crash Data (for quality improvement)
- App stability and performance signals (e.g., usage events, crash logs).
- Not used for advertising and not combined with health data.
Article 3 (Storage & Management)
- Measurement records you enter are stored on your device.
- When you enable the Apple Health app integration in settings, measurement records are also stored in the Apple Health app.
- We do not store health data on our servers.
Article 4 (Purposes of Use)
We use information solely for the following purposes:
- Providing core features (recording, displaying, charting, and averaging your readings)
- Integrating with the Apple Health app (importing past data / saving new data)
- Debugging, crash prevention, and performance improvement
- User support and issue resolution
We do not use health data for advertising or marketing.
Article 5 (Sharing with Third Parties)
- We do not provide personally identifiable information to third parties.
- When we use third-party services for analytics or crash handling, those providers may receive technical information governed by their own privacy policies.
- We do not sell or share health data (blood pressure, pulse, etc.) with third parties, nor use it for advertising.
Article 6 (Your Choices)
- Delete records: You can delete health data via the Apple Health app. You can also reset records/settings in the App at Settings → Reset.
- Manage permissions: You can change the Apple Health app integration permissions anytime in iOS Settings.
- Manage notifications: Change notification preferences in iOS or within the App.
- Manage tracking/analytics: Where available, toggle collection on/off in the App settings.
Article 7 (Security Measures)
- On-device and the Apple Health app data are protected by OS-level safeguards (device encryption, passcode/biometrics).
- By design, we do not store health data on our servers, minimizing leakage risk.
- You are responsible for maintaining device security (e.g., screen lock, OS/App updates).
Article 8 (Use by Minors)
- The App is not intended for use by children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) without parental consent.
- Minors must use the App with the consent of a legal guardian.
Article 9 (Changes to This Policy)
- We may update this Policy as needed.
- We will announce the updated content and effective date on this site or within the App in advance.
- Where legally required, we will implement consent procedures through our designated methods and apply the updated Policy only to users who consent.
- Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
